For this study I experimented with in a  couple  of ways. First used a sample of a new panel called Sintra by Multi Media Art Board. It seemed easy to work on and is lightweight - good for plein air work.
Also, worked more with the palette knife to get some of the texture on the main rose and supporting flowers.

    Just lovely, Pat! So fresh and vibrant. I have really enjoyed your color charts and critique of what you learned. I plan to start mine this week.

    Outstanding roses, Pat! The cobalt blue vase and reflections are also very nice. I'm not familiar with Sintra panels, but I will have to check them out. Another great tip . . . thanks!
