This was more of a full blown still life than a flower "study" but I'll claim it for my learning process on painting flowers.
It was actually an exercise in an excellent on line learning program by artist and instructor Daniel Edmondson.

 I really enjoyed painting it and like the overall warm feeling of the flowers and the background.

 I did a 2nd version to concentrate more on developing the flowers and will share that in my next post.
