A little closer in view of one of the lilac arrangements from France which I did last week before leaving for Italy. I hope to figure out how to upload some of my new paintings from Italy while away ,since this is the last of the paintings I did and had stored on my computer before I left. So keep your fingers crossed, tomorrow should be a scene of Italy.

ReplyDeleteThank you. You are too kind. And yes I do miss. That one I started awhile back, wasn't satisfied and revisited it till I at least learned something. Often we give up on a painting too soon. I always tell my students to see their paintings thru to completion. Otherwise you miss the lesson of the painting. Also if you judge it too quickly you can't make a good assessment. It is like taking a cake out of the oven after 20 minutes when the recipe says bake for 45 and then wondering why it isn't a cake.
