This was the third painting I completed in the Nancy Medina workshop this weekend. Nancy is an excellent instructor. She paints using the same approach I typically do by laying in a transparent color wash as an underpainting and then coming back with opaques to create form and texture. Her style is different from mine, but I certainly did pick up some new things by participating in the workshop. One thing about art, there is always more to learn.
