Simple, but love the color combinations on this one- white lilacs and raspberry colored, red-violet pot with blue-green background.
Thank you Carol. I appreciate your feedback. This was a fun one to do. I have another Lilac painting I did last night that I will post soon that was also fun. I haven't painted these types of flowers much ( don't seem to find them in Atlanta- I think they do better in cooler climates) but they were growing rampantly in France where I was in May so had the opportunity to get lots of great photo's. The shapes do lend themselves to some interesting abstract designs and patterns of light and dark.
This is beautifully soft. The angle of the flower groups move my eye to see them all.
